At Intellectual Ventures Pete drove the development of the nascent Communications portfolio, started and managed the Networking and Growth Business Units and drove the development of the Build, Buy and Partner strategy of innovation partnerships with key customers. Peter was member of the executive leadership team and OCTO (Office of the CTO) technology team. During this time the company grew from 75 to 800 employees.
Prior to working at IV, Pete was at Microsoft where he drove the development of relationships with real time communications partners such as Research in Motion, Morgan Stanley and Reuters. Pete was the Microsoft Technical representative to the UPnP Forum and contributor to the WS-Discovery and WS-Eventing standards. He was responsible for shipping the first Peer-to-Peer Software Development Kit, Live Communication Server 2005, Live Communications Server 2005 SP1 releases and RIM Blackberry Live Communications Enterprise Client. Prior to Microsoft Pete worked at Nortel Networks and 3Com. In 1999 he was awarded the Nortel Networks Presidents award for Innovation in Europe for developing Centrex IP gateway and soft client product solution. At 3Com Pete helped develop the 3Com Transcend Enterprise Manager, Office Connect product solutions and the first web based device management solution for small form factor network devices. Peter is a member of the Royal Thames Yacht Club, and Washington Athletic Club.

Lance Stovall comes to the GoKube Advisor Board with wealth of Microsoft Cloud experience. Lance’s current role is a Partner Engagement Manager on the Partner Hosting and Cloud Services team. His main business objectives include partner business development for Office 365, as well as Microsoft-based public and private clouds.
His prior role was with the Central Region SMS&P team, where he was a Partner Account Manager (PAM) responsible for driving Microsoft Online business with the North, Heartland & South Central areas.
Among many accomplishments in that role, one of the key ones was building a partner ecosystem of BPOS/ Office 365 Advisor partners that spans SMB to Enterprise Partners. Lance’s first role at Microsoft was as a member of Microsoft Online Incubation Sales team. Before joining Microsoft, Lance had built an entrepreneurial career that spanned staffing services, technology ventures, and competitive local telecom providers.
Lance is based in Dallas/ Fort Worth and is a proud graduate of Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!) and married to another Horned Frog, Jennifer. Their daughter, Leighton Eloise, was born in November of 2010! She is in good company with her seven-year old brother, Luke. Chris has been a leader in the new IT world of enabling business agility using social, mobile, cloud, analytics / big data, and security. He has held sales and sales management positions in the software development and security industries at Rogue Wave Software and Webroot Software.
Building on this enterprise foundation, he moved to NewsGator, landing many of their first Fortune 500 customers and initiating their Microsoft partnership. At Yammer, he has been instrumental in their largest customer transactions and their partnership with Deloitte. Chris holds a B.A. in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado, and resides in Boulder.
